ABOUT ME
I'm Michael Welsh (or yomcat), a 22 year old something from Wellington, New Zealand. I was married on the 23rd of February 2008 to Melissa. I enjoy discrete mathematics mainly, and have a BSc in Mathematics. I have an iMac, called Gordon (named after my grandfather). Oh, and Steve. I am currently studying at Victoria University, taking my Honours year. I'm doing 4 courses: MATH 432: Combinatorics 2 (Matroids); MATH 434: Set Theory; MATH 437: Algebra 2 (Ideals, Varieties, and Algorithms - Gröbner Bases and Their Applications) and MATH 483: Knots, Polynomials and Complexity. I have a rather large (entire wall) blackboard in my room (3.24m2), and a little (A4) one that lives in my bag. I like long walks in the forest, playing computer games and stat whoring.
