Photo Challenge Week 30 - Infrared

This week the photo challenge people have got us trying out Infrared photography
Initially, I wasn’t going to do this challenge, as I have no desire to purchase an IR filter. However, I took the DIY option and brought myself a roll of 120 film and got it developed. This took all week, and I have three games of football this weekend, so I’m left with Saturday morning as the only time I have to go out and shoot.
I taped a piece of film to the front of my pancake lens and used Triggertrap to control some long exposures (I used over 2 minutes in the end). However, there wasn’t much sun (it is winter, after all) and I’m pretty sure I had a light leak with my taping job. I have since watched some videos (I know, watching tutorials after doing something is a great idea) and I have a few ideas on what to do next time to try and make it work better. Unfortunately, I don’t have much time this week, so it’s going to have to wait, probably until the sun comes back in summer.
