This week we’re taking portraits with a particular lighting setup: a single source
Well, today was the only day I was going to be able to make this due to the plague I’ve been fighting all week. I lined a model (thanks Jay) up and then waited for Sunday. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible today, with no sun at the game at all. So I made do. I aimed in the general direction of the sun, and flapped my gold reflector around while I took some shots. The portrait is nice enough, it just doesn’t have the lighting that I wanted (a nice rim light – the classic ‘backlit’ look). Oh well.
