Day 46 - Deer
30 June 2014, 02:58

Canon EOS 70D, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens @ 200mm, 1/160 second @ f/2.8, ISO 100.
Got bored yesterday, so Melissa took me up a hill (about 20 minutes away, because Palmy). When we finally made it to the top, the light sucked, and I couldn’t get any of the windmill photos to work out properly, and with the recent death of Aperture (typical Apple), I have no desire to learn how to use Aperture at all any more. I’ll probably end up with Lightroom (comes with a free application called “Photoshop”, maybe that will be useful).
So instead, I looked at the photos we took on the way up. None of the deer shots were particularly nice (this one has that headless thing, and I cloned out another head), but Melissa has been making sure I at least carry my camera with me.
There were also some knocked-up horses on the way down, but horses can wait. We have plans.
