While walking home today, I thought I’d give panning a try. It’s hard, so I need to practise more, maybe with the L lens (it has a special “panning” IS mode). I got better motion with 1/25 second, but I wasn’t very good at moving the camera along a plane. This is most evident in the cars I shot continuously, rather than just once, as was the case with this shot. Maybe some robot moves will help (a video trick), and IS certainly will. Another one to put on the “need to try out more” list (I’m going to write this eventually).
