Day 13 - Steam

Canon EOS 70D, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens @ 70mm, 1/80 second @ f/2.8, ISO 2000.
Ugh, that’s a bad photo. But I was trying to capture the steam rising off of my dinner (I cooked!) whilst cooking, so I didn’t have much time to screw round. I got the steam, and you can see how hideous a little corner of our kitchen looks.
The real trick (as in, when I fake it) is to use a black background. That way the steam shows up much better, and it’s much easier to have fun with in post.
